Did you know that October was Down Syndrome Awareness Month?
We spent the month spreading a little kindness in our community with our #Trisomy21ActsofKindness project. Down syndrome is the trisomy (or triplication) of chromosome 21. We completed 21 random acts of kindness to celebrate Augie and all people with Down Syndrome, to raise awareness, and foster acceptance and inclusion in our community!

I created this video with the help of my kids (and some cool new shirts) to spread a message of love, acceptance and inclusion. I hope that my kids fully embrace and live out these messages as they grow.
We are each uniquely created. We have our own strengths. We have our own challenges. Let us rejoice in our awesomeness. And let us celebrate our differences, because that is what makes the human race so spectacular.

Over the next few days, we will explore the concepts of boycotting 'busy', creating sacred spaces, and being intentional with your time -- allowing you to do some truly delicious living.
Without further ado, here is Part 1: Let's Trade the Word 'Busy' for 'Living'

But, here we are a month later, ready to celebrate all the good things in our life! Actually the BEST things -- our three children!
Our theme was Cupcakes and Stud Muffins. We had a simple but yummy lunch menu, lots of delicious cupcakes, and a...
